The CBT version of the Flight Deck CRM course is divided into 5 independent modules. To cover the whole course 4 to 5 hours are required. To run the CBT any PC with good multimedia capabilities is sufficient.

Six accidents, considered the most relevant accidents from the CRM point of view, have been completely reconstructed by using multimedia techniques and according to the official reports. Those accidents and parts thereof are used in the CBT course to provide examples of the possible consequences of the related CRM issue.

The CBT course is completed with a booklet for the participants that contains the fundamental principles of the CRM course and can be used to write down notes during some CBT-Booklet interaction requested during the CBT session. Those notes can be useful during CRM seminars and for future recurrent training.

A log-in functionality has already been implemented in the CBT course. The log-in requires the student to enter his code (ID number) and name to register himself. The system keeps trace of the lesson's parts covered, and when the whole course has been completed enables the print out of a document that certify all the CRM issues covered - as laid out in JAR OPS - ready to be signed by the instructor.

The modules of the CBT Flight Deck CRM course are as follows:

Module 1 - STATISTIC AND ACCIDENTS
Module 2 - JUDGEMENT AND DECISION MAKING
    Module 3 - COMMUNICATION
Module 4 - LEADERSHIP AND PERSONALITY
